The battery price depends on your model and is shown on your quotation before you approve.

A tired MacBook battery is one of the most common reasons a MacBook stops being portable. A new battery restores it to going unplugged all day. Signs it’s time:

  • Battery drains quickly or the MacBook shuts down when unplugged
  • A “Service Battery” or similar battery warning
  • Battery swells, the trackpad lifts or the case bulges
  • The MacBook only works while plugged in

Swollen battery? Stop using and charging the MacBook and book a repair. A swollen battery is a safety risk and shouldn’t be pressed on or punctured.

Other MacBook repairs start from $65.00 labour. MacBook screen replacement is $90.00 and keyboard replacement $65.00, the same as other laptops. Parts, shipping and applicable taxes are quoted separately.

What to expect for your model

MacBooks differ a lot between models and years. Some parts are easy to swap; on others the memory or storage is built into the board and can’t be upgraded. Add your MacBook model (for example “MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2019”) to the repair request, and we confirm what is possible, which parts are needed and the total in your quotation.
